White lotus (Nymphaea lotus) and Blue lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) have been used for centuries in various cultures for their medicinal properties and psychoactive effects. White lotus has gentle healing effects for the lower chakras (Earth star, root, sacral and solar), whereby Blue lotus tends to have stronger healing abilities and activating qualities for the upper chakras (Heart, throat, third eye and crown). They are believed to help promote feelings of peace, grounding, relaxation, relieve physical pain and inflammation, enhance meditation, relieve anxiety, connect to the divine and reach enlightenment.
